What is My Courses? - online campus includes this personal area for students to access online units, announcements, calendar and notes and some online storage space. The information here will get you started - how to log in and move around.
Your course may not include online units but all students are enrolled in a free unit, Environmental sustainability - things you and EG TAFE can do to help.
Logging in - at the www.onlinecampus.com.au portal, use your Student ID - usually the first three letters of your surname and eight numbers, e.g. ABC12345678 - it's on your Student card. Your initial password is also your Student ID but make sure you change it!

The Course List - This provides links to your units with each unit's instructor/s name/s listed. A unit may have icons below which alert you to new materials or deadlines you need to meet. To go to a unit, you just click on its blue underlined link. |
The unit Home Page - You'll see this once you are in a unit, and the links at the top change. The My Courses link takes you back to your Course List, or you can log straight out at any time. Below the links, you'll see the name and code of the unit.

Your location - This tells you where you are in the unit and is called 'breadcrumbs'.
In the image below, we've gone further into the unit and now you can use the underlined breadcrumb links, or the little grey
arrow button to retrace your steps.

Use this
left arrow back button when it's visible, not the Back button on your browser as it generally won't work.
The buttons at right, below the unit code are:

Course Tools and My Tools - these are to the left and always available - wherever you are in the unit.

You can use the little up and down arrow buttons to see your Course Content - these are the links on the Home Page. The other tools you see can vary from one unit to another - there can be up to 20 - depending on what the teacher has 'turned on' for you. When there's a lot of information on the screen, the Course/My Tools area contracts to the left to make more room. You can pop it in or out using the triangular buttons. The little green asterisks next to Assessments and Web Links here, indicate new content or activities you need to do. My Grades allows you to see the results of any assessment items you might have done. You can see your Progress and take Notes as you go along if their links are enabled. |
You'll learn about all the tools - as and when you need - in the All about My Courses unit.
