Student Service Standards

Commitment to service - Helping you

  • We do all we can to help you to achieve your main reasons for doing the course
  • Our role is to help ensure that your experiences meet your expectations
  • We support you in developing your employability skills to enhance your vocational options
  • We provide a range of support services to assist you

Continuously improving our services

  • We invite you to give us feedback through regular surveys, suggestions for improvement and formal complaints
  • We act on your feedback and suggestions for improvement and set performance targets for improvement
  • We will respond within 10 working days if you lodge a complaint
  • We monitor and regularly audit our services and act on the findings to make improvements

Our teachers

  • Our teachers have relevant and up-to-date knowledge of their subjects
  • Our teachers relate well to students and demonstrate ethical behaviour
  • Our teachers ensure that subject content matches what is needed in industry

Assessment

  • Assessment methods will be made clear to you
  • Assessment tasks are relevant and meet the requirements of industry endorsed training packages
  • Fairness and lack of bias are demonstrated by teachers when assessing your work
  • Open and honest feedback about your assessment tasks is provided by teachers
  • The results of assessments are provided within 15 working days of the due date

Flexibility

  • We aim to provide flexibility in training to meet your needs
  • We are working hard to increase the online learning options available
  • We process final applications for Recognition of Prior Learning and Current Competence within 10 working days from when you submit all your evidence

Processing withdrawals

  • We will process your withdrawal and fees balance, including any allowable refunds, within 15 working days from when you submit a signed withdrawal form.
