Triple J One Night Stand

The One Night Stand - triple j’s free, all-ages concert brings the live music experience to youth in regional Australia.

Every One Night Stand is in a different area and the big announcement this year is ...it’s in Gippsland! triple j looked at all the regional centres the One Night Stand had visited over the years, and we realised we’ve never been to the Gippsland region we think it’ll be the ideal location to host the concert because it’s a area often missed by touring bands.

On Saturday May 30th triple j will host a free, all-ages concert in Sale. We’ll be packing our on-air presenters and heaps of gear into the j-van, plus we’ll be hand-picking the best Australian bands to play on the day. In addition triple j Unearthed will be searching for the best Gippsland band to open the One Night Stand concert. The gig line-up will be announced on triple j radio over the coming month, the first band will be announced on breakfast Tuesday April 14.

And for those who can’t make it to Sale on the day triple j will be broadcasting the concert live on the radio, publishing footage and photos online, plus triple j will be filming and recording the concert for future broadcasting on ‘triple j tv with the Doctor’ and triple j radio’s Live At The Wireless.
