Morning Tea for Library and Information Week

This week is Library and Information Week. How exciting! And to celebrate we are having morning tea in the library at Bairnsdale on Thursday 28th May at 10.30am. But, even more exciting is a presentation in the library at 11am by Alan Peck from Swinburne University with his ‘Naturally Positive’ Teacher directed training for Secondary, TAFE and University students.

Below is a quote from Alan’s website -

“The Naturally Positive training package is a five X 40 min session program that includes 5 DVDs, Power Points, Student Workbooks and Leader Guides. The training targets key areas designed to develop more, positive, confident, and resilient students who can perform under pressure and define success whilst maintaining a positive focus.”

Come and have morning tea, meet Alan and feel positive for library and information week!

Did you know that:

• There are over 400,000 fulltime-equivalent TAFE students in Australia and they are

supported by 387 campus libraries. TAFE libraries had 14 million visits in 2006

• There are over 21 million loans every year in Australian university libraries
